In the Solomon Islands, there are widespread issues related to the accumulation of rubbish around beaches and marine environments that are located in or close to urban areas. This accumulation is related to the littering of plastic items along the shore. In the spirit of a collaborative real action program, AIS Forum gathers up volunteers in the Solomon Islands to clean up the local beach from plastic debris and other waste.
