In order to raise teenagers’ awareness of our ocean’s wellbeing, a group of high school student from FuDan High School organized this beach clean up with Lion Clubs International District 300G2 on 11/22 at Zhuwei Fish Harbor, Taoyuan city, Dayuan District. Through this meaningful event, we want to promote the importance of our ocean because it is highly related to our daily life. We enjoy delicious seafood, wonderful view of our ocean. But none of us want to visit the dirty, highly contaminated coastline. Those are reasons that we want to hold this beach cleanup. Even if we can not affect this world immediately, we believe our act can call upon people and students’ attention to our planet.
During the pandemic, many beach cleanups were canceled; however, now as the aftermath of the pandemic has settled down, we start our act to clean up waste on our coastline. Let’s do our best to dedicate ourselves to our world and create a better life!
