On World Oceans Day people around the globe come together to honor our oceans, which cover over 70% of Earth’s surface and sustain a large diversity of marine animal species. Explore oceans of inspiration at the Aquarium with interactive touch tank exhibits, crafts, scavenger hunts, and more. “The Smog of the Sea” a 30-minute film by musician Jack Johnson about single-use plastic in our once pristine oceans, will also be screened throughout the day.
