As in past years, we grassroots at California Institute of Environmental Design & Management (CIEDM) hold an annual local event to participate in and support to the global celebration of both the World Environment Day (WED) and World Ocean Day (WOD). The event is scheduled with the following programs to 30×30 actions: 1. A general cleanup of Arcadia EcoHome and surroundings including public street right of way in front of the EcoHome on June 5 and June 8; 2. Ecological restoration works on June 8 at the Surfrider Foundation’s Ocean Friendly Garden at the EcoHome so as to maintain and enhance its ocean friendly features as verified by the Foundation; 3. Share and spread the messages of the WED and WOD campaigns and what we have done through social medias to conclude our event so as to raise public awareness of and actions for the 30×30 objectives.
