This year, to celebrate World Ocean Day, we teamed up with National Spring Clean to give away clean-up kits for communities, groups and individuals to organise a beach clean between 5th and 12th June.
One of the issues affecting our ocean is marine litter which has become a global problem for both humans and marine life. However, communities around Ireland have demonstrated their desire to be part of the solution by taking part in several beach cleaning calls to action.
Clean Coasts are once more asking you to join us and take action to protect the ocean. To support your efforts, today registrations opened for communities and individuals in Ireland who want to receive free beach cleaning kits containing bags, gloves and hi-viz vests. You can request a kit by May 27th.
