Join us for an inspiring series of events during World Oceans Week, presented by Divers for Climate!
The Great Barrier Reef is currently undergoing its 5th mass bleaching event in just 8 years driven by unprecedented marine heatwaves, and temperate reefs in the south are suffering under temperatures exceeding 3 degrees above average, wreaking havoc on local kelp forests. Climate-driven weather events are further impacting marine ecosystems and the communities that rely on them around the country.
Those who connect with the underwater world are frontline witnesses to these impacts and it’s time for our stories to shine.
Discover the untold stories of divers, tourism operators, and Traditional Owners, through our captivating short-film, showcasing the diverse perspectives of individuals deeply connected to the underwater world.
