This creative challenge is an ARTivism movement that aims to celebrate, educate & build community around all that is ocean. Through creativity and story-telling we help to bridge the ocean literacy gap and also highlight the work of our wonderful partnering organization- Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS).
We invite you to participate by responding to 5 ocean prompts during the month of June on Instagram (you are also welcome to submit on Facebook or LinkedIn).
Who?
Anyone can participate from professional artists to school children. You can submit an artwork, photograph, video, poem or even a song.
How?
To Join this challenge:
There will be 5 creative prompts throughout June. Use your creativity in any way to respond to these prompts-
6-8 June- Planet Ocean
9-11 June- Stories of the sea
12- 14 June- Wonders Beneath the Waves
15-17 June- Ocean Curiosities
18-20 June- The Ocean Unites

Our team of hosting artists will be creating work to inspire you as well as providing support and encouragement during the challenge. The hosting team will be supporting AMCS in various ways through auctions, print sales and by telling the stories of the incredible work they do.
