Global Eco Adventures presents our second annual World Ocean Day coastal clean-up! Instead of cleaning one location, we will clean four. While our project kick-off is in Myrtle Beach, SC, we will follow suit in Folly Beach, SC, Maui, HI, and San Cristobal, GI, all on June 8th.
This is a global effort to not only clean portions of our coasts, but to engage with communities and local stakeholders who depend on the ocean and coasts for livelihood. What people don’t know, we can’t expect them to protect. So, this is a movement to spread awareness! Awareness inspires conservation, and our hope is for every participant to consider every day as World Ocean Day.
Our initiative is simple. Keeping our coasts and watersheds clean will keep us healthy, healthy oceans = healthy humans.
Please join us at one of our four locations, no sign-up necessary!! Water and clean-up resources available at all locations. Remember to bring sunscreen, and maybe a hat to shade the sun.
This event will take place rain or shine, we will reschedule in the event of storms.
