Green Swing x World Ocean Day Bamboo Golf Tees

At Green Swing, we love golf and we hate plastic. We manufacture millions of golf tees a year and take great pride that every single one is well made from a sustainable source, bamboo.

Those of you familiar with the brand here at Green Swing may be aware of our Plastic Sucks mantra, and our link up with Less Plastic to promote more sustainable alternatives, particularly on the golf course.

This year, we have partnered with our friends at World Ocean Day (WOD) to raise awareness of their mission for a healthy ocean and stable climate.

For the past 20 years, WOD have bookmarked early June in the diary to shine a beacon of light to their cause. This year, World Ocean Day falls is on Saturday June 8th.

WOD is a global coordination of efforts and local initiatives to get more people involved in the protection of our oceans and their mission of protecting 30% of our lands and ocean by 2030, in partnership with Campaign for Nature.

While their focus is on one day (usually in June every year), they are also committed to providing resources and information all year round.

We wanted to help shine that light with a timely release of bamboo golf tees in a unique colour combination. A product that can act as a physical reminder and a great way to spread awareness around the initiatives run by the team at WOD.
