Regional Science Centre & Planetarium Calicut (RSCPC) joins the global celebration to make the people aware of the importance of Ocean and impact on our lives. There is a gallery titled ‘Hall of Ocean’ at its campus to educate one and all on ocean science. On June 8, 2023 this centre will organise special guided tours of its Ocean Gallery followed by a written quiz contest for the general public. There will be doubt clearance and kids’ activity session. A popular lecture on ocean science titled ‘The Ocean of Life’ will be organised at 5 pm in the auditorium of RSCP Calicut.
Further, on June 12, 2023 (Monday) from 3 pm to 5 pm, an outdoor session titled ‘Treasures in the Beach’ will be organised at South Beach Kozhikode where people will be encouraged for collecting treasure of the ocean from the beach and identification of the same by experts.
