Last year was a bit of a mess, but your local creek doesn’t have to be…
Join the Inland Ocean Coalition in our goal of completing 100 creek cleanups across the United States in honor of World Oceans Day! We believe that you don’t have to see the ocean in order to protect it. Caring for our ocean can start with simply cleaning up your local watersheds to prevent trash from making its way to our shores. Will you help us reach our goal by donating or hosting your own fundraiser?
We need your help!
In order to host 100 creek cleanups, we need your support. Any gift amount will help us towards our goal, and will cover the cost of organizing cleanups, acquiring the necessary materials, and completing our trash audits afterward!
With your donation, you can ensure that a local watershed is cleaned up by us and that the plastic bottles, discarded masks, and other trash that is found is intercepted before it makes its way to our beautiful ocean.
Want to help us fundraise? Host your own creek cleanup and ask your friends and family for a contribution when they participate! Any amount counts towards cleaning up our creeks and protecting our ocean from pollution. We’ve created a cleanup toolkit for you to utilize, so that you can be successful in planning your own!
We know it can be time consuming to plan your own cleanup – so feel free to keep things simple and utilize your social media platforms to reach out to your friends and family asking to support our goal! Fundraising doesn’t have to be complicated – it can be as simple as making a few phone calls, or writing a few emails to folks who may be interested in our mission.
