Katheti invites you to the screening of the mini-documentary “Saving Poros” by independent journalist and documentarist Francesco De Augustinis, on Thursday, 8th June 2023, at 6 pm at the municipal building, Syggrou. In 9 minutes, director Francesco De Augustinis outlines the severe threat posed by the plan to drastically expand the industrial fish farms on Poros island through revelatory facts and interviews. The film is accompanied by an in-depth investigative report covering Francesco’s extensive research and interviews across Spain and Greece. The video also includes firsthand new footage comparing the dead seabed near the existing farm on Poros with the biodiverse one elsewhere on the island.
