LA DIFESA DEL MARE

Il mare costituisce un prezioso scrigno di biodiversità, per difenderlo e proteggerlo nel miglior modo possibile è importante imparare a conoscerlo avendo consapevolezza del valore eco-sistemico delle aree naturali protette e della corretta fruizione dell’ambiente marino-costiero. A questi temi sono dedicati l’evento e la mostra fotografica sulle Aree protette d’Italia “La Difesa del Mare”, con le immagini dal concorso Obiettivo Terra, promossi dalla Società Geografica Italiana in collaborazione con la Fondazione UniVerde e l’Istituto Tecnico per il Turismo “Cristoforo Colombo” di Roma, con il sostegno del Ministero della Difesa, nell’ambito del progetto Lo “sguardo geografico” tra passato e presente per un futuro sostenibile. Percorsi interdisciplinari per affrontare temi cruciali.

The sea is a precious treasure trove of biodiversity, to defend and protect it in the best possible way it is important to get to know it while being aware of the ecosystemic value of protected natural areas and the correct use of the marine-coastal environment. The event and photographic exhibition on protected areas of Italy “La Difesa del Mare” are dedicated to these themes, with images from the Objective Earth competition, promoted by the Italian Geographical Society in collaboration with the UniVerde Foundation and the Technical Institute for Tourism “Cristoforo Colombo” of Rome, with the support of the Ministry of Defence, as part of the project The “geographical gaze” between past and present for a sustainable future.
