Today more than twenty villagers in Ushongo village, Pangani Tanzania join with the other part of the world to celebrate the World Ocean Day. They collect more than 200 mangroves (Seriop Tagal) seeds and plant them. This activity started on Tuesday 7th June 2022. It was exited day for the villagers to participate in restoring nature and the Ocean, whereby their living depends on most since 99% of the community engaged in fishing activity. Today’s activity will be continuous, villagers will arrange some days to conduct planting and other restoration approaches.
