OceanLove will organize the World Ocean Day event at the KMT House in Cairo, Egypt, between 4PM and 10PM.
OceanLove Market
The whole day there’s an OceanLove Market, where activists, social entrepreneurs and artists are sharing their knowledge, products and initiatives for the oceans.
OceanLove Seminar
Between 8PM and 10PM there will be an OceanLove Seminar with its focus on: Egypt Plastics Free by 2030. The following speakers will be taking part in the seminar: Manar Ramadan (co-founder of Banlastic) and Mostafa Habib (co-founder of Very Nile). Some of the honorable participating guests will be Sherine Abdel Rassoul (founder of Drumstick Designs), Hussein Barada (Head of Marketing at Intro Sustainable Resources and co-founder of Dawar App), Haytham Shakwat (founder and owner of Villa Sumatra) and Seif Youssef (founder of Thalassains).
International OceanLove video premiere in Cairo, Egypt
At the start of the seminar OceanLove will premiere a four minutes video with statements from icons like Sylvia Earle, Peter Thomson (UN Special Envoy for the Ocean) and Guoni Johannesson (President of Iceland). This video is produced by OceanLove and
its global premiere will also highlight the Egyptian launch of this sea-loving initiative
