Our Ocean, Our Future

We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of our event, “Our Ocean, Our Future,” held on 4th June 2023 at the stunning Sekinchan Redang Beach in Malaysia. This remarkable event was jointly organized by CSR Venture, CSR Wang Zi Foundation, Junior Chamber International Kuala Lumpur Mandarin (JCI KLM), Asia Fruits, and the local authority.

With the aim of supporting the implementation of the worldwide Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and fostering public interest in the protection of the ocean and its resources, our event exceeded expectations. We were delighted to witness the active participation and enthusiasm of attendees as we collectively worked towards our goal.

The beach cleanup activity was a resounding success, with volunteers dedicating their time and effort to clean up the beach and collect over 1000 kg of rubbish. This achievement not only showcased our commitment to maintaining the beauty of Sekinchan Redang Beach but also served as a powerful reminder of the urgent need to address ocean pollution and protect marine ecosystems.

In addition to the beach cleanup, our event featured an array of engaging activities and educational programs. Interactive workshops, enlightening talks by esteemed ocean experts, and thought-provoking exhibitions provided attendees with valuable insights into the impact of human actions on the ocean. Through these initiatives, we aimed to inform and inspire the public, fostering a global movement of citizens dedicated to the preservation of our oceans.
