The Hub Sea Swimmers are hosting a “pick and dip” event to celebrate World Ocean Day.
Did you know that oceans absorb about 30% of carbon dioxide produced by humans, buffering the impacts of global warming – or that over three billion people depend on marine and coastal biodiversity for their livelihoods? – @wwf @wwf_uk
It’s so important that we do our part to help reduce the destruction of this ecosystem and as part of our #wellnesswednesday swim we will be taking part in a “pick and dip” as created by @saltyseasisters
Bring your pickers and help us with a beach clean and if you fancy bring your swimming gear too to take a dip in what we are are celebrating – our wonderful ocean.
