Run for the Reef is a youth-led fundraiser that invites everyone around the world to take part in cutting edge science and conservation just by moving their feet.
Reserva: The Youth Land Trust has teamed up with The Leatherback Project to collect the scientific data needed to establish safe migratory corridors for leatherbacks and countless other marine species, including beloved marine icons like Whale Sharks as well as three other species of sea turtle—Green, Hawksbill, and Olive Ridley.
When you register, your voluntary donation will fund the purchase and deployment of satellite tags that track sea turtle migration in Panama’s Pearl Islands. This data collection is crucial to inform the Panamanian government exactly which areas to protect and enable the movement of endangered marine species
