Like every year, in Sahara Sunset we like to celebrate Ocean’s Day with a beach cleaning. Guests and team members together go to the Castillo Bil-Bil beach, in front of the resort, to collect every waste we find. This year the beach was a little bit cleaner than years before, but very sadly the “waste winner” is still cigarette butt. We have collected 1,05 kg of waste between butts, different kind of plastics, some aluminium and other wastes. Everything has been properly segregated and left in the corresponding coloured bin.
