Sea Creature Sand Castle Competition

Our World Ocean Day celebrations continue through the month of June! Eco Dive & Ocean Spirits will be hosting an ocean’s awareness morning for the whole family on Grand Anse Beach Saturday June 10.
There will be information and small displays for the kids, including a little mermaid photo board  with Eco Dive & Ocean Spirits volunteers and marine biologists there to help answer questions from 9:30 am.
From 10 am there will be a Sea Creature Sandcastle competition with prizes for the most creative team & most impressive sandcastle creation so bring your peeps and your skills and let’s see what we can create 
Sea Creature Sandcastle competition info:
– Start time 10 am with Judging at 11:15 am. Winning team wins bragging rights and a photo op with Stanley the Shark  (let’s be honest we are in this for the fun not the prize, all good attitudes welcome)
– max team size of 6 ppl
– only organic props (e.g. tree almonds, sea shells), or litter collected that morning off the beach/underwater allowed (you know us we can’t help but make a clean-up part of our beautiful Grand Anse )
– The winning teams must be able to tell the judges 2 cool facts about their sea creature(s) (our Eco crew can help!)
