On World Oceans Day we will be discussing current issues in the Southeast Queensland (SEQ) marine environment, and showcasing the work that marine social scientists are doing to contribute to solutions. The 2022 theme for World Oceans Day is Revitalization: Collective Action for the Ocean, which will guide many of our discussions. This event is open to the public and will finish in the evening with the official launch and celebration of the SEQ Marine Social Science hub by the Queensland Chief Scientist, Hugh Possingham.
The day will be broken into sessions to allow attendees to book into as many sessions as they prefer.
