The Coastline Runner, Beach Clean Up and Run from Folkestone to Hythe

For the 30th stretch of running the coastline of the UK, The Coastline Runner will be joined by local groups, authorities and Neurosurgeon Henry Marsh at Sunny Sands Beach, Folkestone Harbour on 8th June 2023. 

We would like to invite local residents to join us and help to reduce plastic pollution on our coast and oceans. The theme will be 30by30 (30×30?) we will collect at least 30 pieces of plastic pollution with two different schools.


– 10 AM Beach clean-up at Sunny Sands beach with the pupils of St Eanswythe’s school

– 10:30 AM Running to Hythe (5k run)

– 11 AM Beach clean-up on the beach near Seabrook Primary School

– 11:30 AM  Run past Princes Parade Historic Landfill, ending at West Hythe Quarry, Hythe (7k run)
