About this event

The coastal area around the Tingira Street boat ramp has been one of our most polluted sites. It has been a year since we cleaned this site. Now we want to return to remove what has washed up since then.

Meet our team at the Tingira Street Boat Ramp at 10:00 am for a safety brief and registration. We will then collect rubbish from the river banks and vegetation until we gather for light refreshments and an educational talk. The event will be finished at approx. 1 pm.

Please bring closed shoes that can get muddy, a reusable water bottle, weather protective clothing (prepare for biting insects, bring additional repellent if you seem to be favoured by mosquitos and sandflies) and your Parley t-shirt if you have one .

You will be climbing over mangrove roots. Hence, the event is not suitable for children under 12.

The event will align with the current COVID-19 regulations. Please do not attend if you are unwell.

See you in the mangroves!

Your Parley Crew
