Toxic Legacies of War – North Sea Wrecks

19 May, 2022 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm CEST

From Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 May, more than 150 ships, from three-masted barques to inland vessels to the smallest clinker sloop, will dock in Ostend for ‘Ostend at Anchor’. Anyone with an interest in maritime history will find what they are looking for at this event. Get to know old ship crafts, taste freshly fried or smoked fish, enjoy the many performances… or visit the traveling exhibition Toxic Legacies of War – North Sea Wrecks‘ and the associated lecture evening by VLIZ and the German Maritime Museum on the occasion of World Ocean Day.
