Toxic Waters Screening at European Parliament

Join us Wednesday 15 June at 5.45pm at the European Parliament 

To mark Ocean Week 2022 and World Ocean Day 2022, join us on Wednesday 15 June at 5.45pm at the European Parliament (Spinelli entrance, rue wiertz) in Brussels for the FREE screening of a series of short documentaries on 2 examples of ongoing pollution in Rosignano in Italy and Wijk aan Zee in the Netherlands. 

Free event. Language of the event is English.

About this event 

Industrial activities over Europe are responsible for water pollution on a massive scale. This pollution not only negatively affects the marine environment, impacts frequented bathing and recreational sites but also severely impacts the health of blue communities living nearby and that of water sports enthusiasts, with pollution causing cancer, asthma and other diseases.
