تقيم آي لاب مارين هذه الندوة لتثقيف الجمهور العام عن أهمية المحيطات وطرق الحفاظ على مواردنا، نظرا لإزدهار أنشطة الصيد والسياحة البحرية التي قد تؤدي ممارسات بعض أفرادها سلبا على البيئة. يأتي اختيار موضوع التلوث وحماية الكائنات البحرية كمحور أساسي في الفعالية نظرا لما تشهده السلطنة من ازدهار أنشطة اقتصادية قد تساهم في زيادة نسبة التلوث أو التأثير على الكائنات البحرية.
تتضمن الفعالية حوار وعروض مرئية عن طرق صون المحيطات، التلوث، والإستزراع السمكي، كما يتضمن عرض للتقنيات البحرية وأهميتها في صون المحيطات. كمات سيتم الإعلان عن مساقة أفضل صورة بحرية للسلطنة
iLab Marine is holding this seminar to educate the general public about the importance of the oceans and ways to conserve our resources, given the booming fishing and marine tourism activities that some of their practices may adversely affect the environment. The choice of pollution and the protection of marine organisms as a key focus of effectiveness comes as Oman is witnessing a growth in economic activities that may contribute to increasing pollution or affecting marine organisms.
The event includes dialogue and visual presentations on ocean conservation, pollution and fish farming, as well as a presentation of marine technologies and their importance in ocean conservation. A competition of the “Best Marine Photo of Oman” shall be announced.
