The litter we see washed up on the shore represents only about 15% of the marine litter offshore.
Come out this World Ocean Day and take an active role in making our local marine environment safer for our wildlife.
Meet at the Macduff Marine Aquarium forecourt for 10am. Please dress for the weather with appropriate footwear for walking along the rocky beach. We will leave from the aquarium and clean the coast along High Shore. Bags and litter pickers will be provided but please bring reusable work gloves if you can.
All volunteers will have access to the aquarium FREE of charge after the beach clean.
