Did you know that 80% of ocean plastics come from inland rivers and canals?
We’ve teamed up with Thames21 to continue our efforts to remove plastics at our closest waterway, the Thames. This is part of our annual series of litter clean-ups trying to prevent the flood of plastics into the oceans.
We are also taking a record of what we find to help Thames21, and the Port of London Authority convince more businesses and organisations to make the change from single-use plastics.
Join us for a litter clean-up at the Thames foreshore lovingly called OXO beach. We’d say there is no better way to spend an afternoon.
