World Ocean Day – Kaua’i
Online and Live presentations of short video segments sure to give viewers a loving feeling about the world’s oceans. Kaua’i is an island surrounded by the ocean, oceans and beaches that are loved and cared for by the people of Kaua’i.
On World Ocean Day June 8th beginning at 12:00 pm and again at 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm there will be Live Stream video of actors, artists, puppeteers, dancers, large inflatable ocean creatures, scientists and Surfrider volunteers showing how Kaua’i people care for our oceans. At 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm there will be live staged performing arts presentations on Facebook with interactive Chat! The Story of ‘Jonah and the Whale’ by Cap’n Mark will be told from inside of Storybook Theatre’s inflatable Humpback Whale live on Zoom.
All events will be shared on Storybook Theatre’s Russell the Rooster Facebook/YouTube channels. Those wishing to participate in the Zoom story of ‘Jonah and the Whale’ must pre- register via email at email@example.com. They will receive the url of the Zoom meeting before the event.
