You Can Build A Wood Boat! at Grand Ledge Area District Library

Find out what it takes to build your own wood boat as we celebrate all things water during Oceans of Possibilities!

In this one hour multi-media seminar you’ll learn what is involved in building the two most popular types of home built wooden boats. Award-winning boat builder Allen Deming of Mackinaw Watercraft will share his insights on the time, the tools and the talents needed to complete your very own beautiful wooden boat! Allen will also discuss Plans vs. Kits and share information on where to find the materials and additional educational opportunities. Ages 16 and up.  Free
