“A week to celebrate the World Ocean Day, what could you do to save our Ocean?”

The aim of my event is to raise awareness of the importance of taking care of the Ocean among the students of my school. It will also provide information about how we can make a more sustainable ocean by changing habits and little actions in our daily routines.

To elaborate on this activity I will use big banners with photos, quirky oceans facts and small habits that all of us can do in our day to day. For sure, I will also use the toolkit provided by the World Ocean Day website.

I do believe in the importance of getting more and more people involved in this challenging goal. Spreading awareness of saving our Ocean with initiatives like World Ocean Day are the only way. So for that, I will invite people participating in the activity to enjoy some snacks together and exchange views about how they see next steps. We need to make attractive activities combining awareness and fun. I am sure that it will spread the message and more and more people in my school will hear about our gatherings.
