To celebrate the World Ocean Day in Jeju island, South Korea, three local organizations are co-organizing the beach clean-up event with youth with disabilities on 10 June in Iho Beach in Jeju City. Disabled and non-disabled youth will be together for beach clean-up and have a meaningful day to protect the sea of Jeju.
‘GlOBAL INNER PEACE’ is Jeu based NGO for international development cooperation and global citizenship education to bridge between Jeju island as the ‘Island of World Peace’ and the global society. ‘COWALK COOPERATIVE’ is an organization that helps people with disabilities and community members with communication difficulties. ‘WARANGWARANG KKUMTEO COOPERATIVE’ is an organization for career education and programs to help teenagers can grow through various experiences in a safe environment.
