Beach Cleanup and Plastic Collection Program at Moree, Ghana.

On 8 June 2023, we plan to hold a beach cleanup exercise and Plastic Collection programme in Moree, Ghana will ensure that the beaches are cleared of refuse dump and other debris which won’t eventually enter the ocean to cause marine pollution.

The main event objectives will be:

  1. To reduce marine plastic pollution drastically
  2. To abolish dumping of waste at the beaches immediately
  3. To improve on sanitation laws and also sensitize the community on climate issues especially on ocean health and marine resources
  4. To provide adequate waste collection facilities and equipment to restore sanity in the community
