Article: In the Name of Dear and Precious Ocean, by Mr Güntürk Üstün

5 June, 2022 - 8 June, 2022

I am Mr Güntürk Üstün, a medical doctor and an unknown poet-writer (who published 10 books of poetry so far plus thousands of comments written in Turkish-French-English on the web about the maritime and railroad transport).

I have just written (in French) and published a short article on the Paris-France based renowned “Lettre Du Cheminot” website about this year’s WORLD OCEAN DAY celebrations. Learn more here!

You can find below the English translation of my related article. I wish and hope that some of you may find it interesting!

Greetings from Izmir by the Aegean Sea!

***Translated Article***

By the way, let’s remember to celebrate World Oceans Day next June 8 and each day almost everywhere (including at train and ferry stations)!

A living and healthy ocean means a balanced climate and a future still full of hope!

So dear and precious Oceans! Perhaps you sometimes forgot because of intense existential activities, but please let this unknown poet-author once again sincerely and modestly remind you of an absolute reality: ON OUR “BLUE PLANET” YOU DO NOT ONLY HAVE YOUR DEAR AND PRECIOUS SHIP SISTERS WHO WILL SUPPORT YOU WITH HIGH AWARENESS OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION IN FREIGHT AND PASSENGER TRANSPORT, BUT YOU ALSO HAVE DEAR AND PRECIOUS TRAIN SISTERS!
