🌊 Let’s clean-up Alameda dos Oceanos! 🚬🐠
Majorel Portugal has a very special activity this month within the Feel Good 360 program: Let’s clean-up Alameda dos Oceanos! 🚬
In June, there is a Global celebration of World Ocean Day. This year (and hopefully from here on out), Majorel will join in the cause with a Cigarette-butt clean-up event here in the area surrounding the Explorer Building (Gare do Oriente, Lisbon, PT).
Why? Because even when cigarette-butts are dropped on land, many find their way into the ocean. This is especially relevant in urban areas near rivers. This is a big problem as cigarettes are very toxic to the aquatic environment. By participating in this clean-up, we will contribute to a global cause and help World Ocean Day Org collect valuable data about ocean litter. 🌊
At 3:15 pm we will all meet up on the ground floor to start the clean-up. To help us in the planning, sign-up here.
Please remember to put on some sunscreen and stay hydrated. 🧴🌞

Where: Your Desk (for a little pep talk) then we’ll go down to the front of the building to start the clean-up.
