The StFX Biology Department will be hosting their 9th Annual World Oceans Day event June 11th. The event will promote ocean awareness to younger generations and to the general public.
Activities and presenters include Bird Studies Canada, Sydney Coast Guard, Eastern Region Solid Waste Management, crafts, live critters, preserved specimens, forehead and arm painting, henna tattoos, sustainability – local businesses and alternatives to plastics items, nautical knots, all immersive underwater deep ocean virtual reality experience, and more…
Restriction for this year: Masks must be worn and number of people will be monitored.
