Please consider joining us on Sunday, June 11 to celebrate World Ocean Day and to do our part keeping the Gulf of Mexico clean. We will provide trash, grabbers, and trash bags for all who are interested in this cause. After the cleanup, we will dig and sift for fossilized shark teeth.
We are offering a $10 discount to any adult who participates in the cleanup event and would like to dig and sift.
The weather is slated to be great so if you would like to join us simply make a payment and complete a waiver via our website.
Payment options are available under the “Make a Payment” tab and waivers are available on the “waivers” tab. Once we receive payment and your waiver you will be reserved for the activity. If you have any questions please contact me at (813) 784-3396.
Please note, if you plan to collect shark’s teeth, invertebrates or plant fossils no fossil hunting permit is required. However, in order to collect anything else you must obtain a permit. To apply, please visit our website, locate it under the fossil hunting tab, print and complete it then mail it with $5 for the annual fee.
I hope you were able to join us for this event and cause. If you have any questions, please contact me at (813) 784-3396. if you’d like more information on this cause, please check out the link. https://worldoceanday.org
