Two years ago, nations of the world adopted the High Seas Treaty to protect ocean life. To enter into force, the Treaty needs to be signed and ratified by at least 60 countries. We are nearly there! Less than a dozen countries to go to get to 60!
Once ratified, the world community can enable stronger international efforts to protect our ocean, mitigate climate change, and safeguard the lives and livelihoods of billions of people worldwide.
