Join us on **Sunday 7 June** (the day before World Ocean Day) around **2pm** (low tide) at Collaroy Basin.

Come celebrate our ocean as the humpback whales pass by on their incredible 10,000 km migration from Antarctica to the warm waters of northern Australia — right past our bay!

A relaxed community gathering with:
– Traditional Smoking and Welcoming Ceremony presented by Neil Ethers, local GuriNgai man
– See how Aboriginal people would call in Whales
– Beautiful sunset views
– Stories of the whales’ epic journey
– Marine biologist Rob (TBC) sharing about whale songs
– Bring a picnic

All welcome — families, locals, snorkellers, and ocean lovers 💙
