World Ocean Day Beach Yoga and Clean-up

Join us on Tybee Island, Georgia, for a community celebration of World Ocean Day dedicated to education, stewardship, and connection to our coastal environment.
This family-friendly event brings together local nonprofits, conservation organizations, and businesses to inspire action for healthier oceans and shorelines. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in a community beach cleanup, enjoy a beginner-friendly beach yoga class, learn about shorebird conservation and marine ecosystems, and connect with organizations working to protect our coast year-round.
Throughout the event, guests can visit educational booths, explore volunteer opportunities, participate in an Ocean Gratitude Wall, and learn simple ways they can help reduce their impact on the environment.
The beach cleanup will be hosted by Fight Dirty Tybee, with cleanup supplies provided throughout the event. Participants who complete the cleanup may receive complimentary admission to the Tybee Marine Science Center while supplies last.
Together, we aim to celebrate our connection to the ocean, inspire environmental stewardship, and encourage positive action that helps protect our beaches, wildlife, and waterways for future generations.
