Chefs’ Seafood Sustainability Tour

5 June, 2023

In the lead up to World Ocean Day, we’re hosting chefs from some of Melbourne’s top restaurants on a tour to learn more about sourcing sustainable seafood and supporting health oceans to thrive.

Seafood Positive’s Ambassador Chefs, Jason Staudt from Stokehouse Restaurant and Ben Isaacs from The Local Taphouse (St Kilda, Melbourne) will join the tour, visiting Mainstream Aquaculture (Werribee) and Jade Tiger Abalone (Indented Head). We’ll be joined by guest speakers from Corner Inlet Fishers Habitat Association and The Nature Conservancy, and hear their insights about initiatives to drive long-term sustainability of fisheries and habitat restoration.

The tour stops at La Cantina restaurant for a seafood lunch and explores regenerative agriculture at Common Ground Project.
