Coastal Wetlands: Shorebird Sanctuary Sweep, Avalon Coastal Reserve

💧🌊Coastal-Wetlands Series🌊💧 We’re partnering with Beach Patrol for a special plastic reduction day! Join us for a unique coastal clean-up at Avalon Coastal Reserve, known for its incredible birdwatching and RAMSAR wetland status. Dive into the pristine shores and help protect the habitat of endangered birds by clearing plastic debris. We hope to remove macro and micro plastics from this internationally and culturally significant site. Help protect shorebird habitat and collect crucial litter data for CSIRO research from this beautiful site. ** Key Highlights ** Meet and learn from the dedicated Beach Patrol team. Discover bird watching opportunities in a tranquil RAMSAR setting. Learn about CSIRO litter collection methods and take part in protecting our unique wetlands. 🐟 Join us in this coastal clean-up endeavour to clean and pristine our shorelines 🐟
