This action will visit several High Schools in the Rías Baixas area in Galicia (ages 12-17) to show the Costeiro Xunta de Galicia observatory and how society and the marine environment benefit from its existence.
It addresses the need to have an operational oceanography to improve resilience in the face of climate change, the Observatory’s capacities and how men and women work in it day-to-day.
They will try to find the main problems of the surrounding marine environment to end up talking about a little-known physical contaminant, marine noise and what it is like in our geographical area.
Finally we will look for solutions that are in our power to improve the ocean and build our future together.
