Pandanan Marine Technipark (Taman Laut Pandanan) is an initiative of local people to restore the coral reef ecosystem of their sea in front of the village which has been destroyed by fish bombing and Coral mining in decade ago by their parents. The next generation is educated and aware of the important of the coral reef. They are struggling to restore the ecosystem. With help of many parties from akademic to corporate, the restoration is running slowly but sure.
The World Ocean Day and the coral triangle day are the best moments to encourage public to aware and do actions to help the initiative. The coral reef has the wonders and will improve the economy of village communities.
