A Semana Oceânica do PB visa criar um espaço de diálogo colaborativo entre municípios, setor privado, sociedade civil organizada e academia em torno da conservação e uso sustentável dos recursos marinhos, além de promover a Cultura Oceânica sobre o MAR na Paraíba.
Em nossa 3ª edição – III SOPB – estamos trazendo o tema “Planeta Oceano: as marés estão mudando” estabelecido pela Organização das Nações Unidas em alusão ao Dia dos Oceanos. Através de rodas de conversa, exposições temáticas, desporto e boas práticas ambientais,
espera-se cativar as pessoas para se reconectarem com o oceano.
Nesta 3ª edição, buscamos promover novas ações em prol da conservação do meio costeiro e marinho, procurando apresentar à sociedade paraibana o Programa Estratégico de Recifes Artificiais Marinhos (PREAMAR), a plataforma virtual SISFAUMAR e as Medidas Mitigadoras para a BIOINVASÃO DE PEIXES peixe-leão e a situação da gripe aviária.
No dia 8 de junho, vamos realizar um abraço simbólico no recife de coral do Seixas, através de uma remada que envolve diferentes segmentos (caiaques, stand-up, bodyboard, natação, catamarãs).
Haverá também exposição da plataforma integrada Sisfaumar e adesão de instituições e sociedade civil que queiram fazer parte dessa rede de conhecimento e ações em prol do nosso Mar da Paraíba!
English translation:
PB Oceanic Week aims to create a space for collaborative dialogue between municipalities, the private sector, organized civil society and academia around the conservation and sustainable use of marine resources, in addition to promoting Oceanic Culture about the SEA in Paraíba.
In our 3rd edition – III SOPB – we are bringing the theme “Planet Ocean: the tides are changing” established by the United Nations in allusion to the Day of the Oceans. Through conversation circles, thematic exhibitions, sports and good environmental practices, it is expected to captivate people to reconnect with the ocean.
In this 3rd edition, we seek to promote new actions in favor of the conservation of the coastal and marine environment, seeking to present to Paraíba society the Strategic Program for Artificial Marine Reefs (PREAMAR), the SISFAUMAR virtual platform and the Mitigating Measures for BIOINVASION OF FISHES lionfish and the avian flu situation.
On the 8th of June, we will perform a symbolic hug on the Seixas coral reef, through a paddle that involves different segments (kayaks, stand-up, bodyboard, swimming, catamarans).
There will also be an exhibition of the Sisfaumar integrated platform and the adhesion of institutions and civil society that want to be part of this network of knowledge and actions in favor of our Sea of Paraíba!
