Celebrate World Ocean Month by helping clean up Sherwood Beach Park! World Ocean Month calls for people around world to celebrate and honor our one shared ocean that connects us all! Join us in helping protect at least 30% of our blue planet by 2030.
Check in any time between 9AM – 11:30PM. Take the exit off of Kalanianaole Highway into Hunananiho. Do NOT turn at the first left, keep going straight until the parking lot. Look for the Waikīkī Aquarium tent to check-in and pick up any necessary clean-up supplies. All supplies and collected marine debris must be returned to the check-in table by 12PM.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Supplies such as buckets/bags, sifters, and tongs will be provided. Gloves can be provided to those who do not bring their own reusable pair. Remember to bring your own water and reef-safe sunscreen!
At the end of the event, we will weigh all collected rubbish (so donʻt dump it before coming back to the table). Mahalo for keeping our beautiful island clean and trash free!
