About This Event
The 6th International Workshop on Marine Litter Monitoring, Removal and Blue Circular Economy brings together scientists, innovators, and policymakers at the Venice International Boat Show (Arsenale, Torre di Porta Nuova). The programme covers cutting-edge topics including robotic litter detection and removal, beach microplastics monitoring, riverine retention systems, emerging contaminant depollution, and blue circular economy innovations. A policy roundtable will advance European strategies to combat marine litter, followed by a participatory stakeholder workshop and a live SeaClear2.0 robotic pilot showcase in the Arsenal basin. Co-funded by the EU, the event is part of the HEUROPE SeaClear2.0, REMEDIES, MED-Hubs, and JOINABLE projects.
