Biodiverse Urbanism Masterclass

About This Event

Two young Cambodian leaders, co-founders of The Verdant Botany and youth delegates for the World Cities Summit (one of whom served as a Youth Jury member for the World Green City Awards 2026), will present their local climate and biodiversity conservation projects at the coastal areas. They will also share future plans for leveraging urban biodiversity to build climate-resilient cities along the river and coast. The main purpose of this event is to educate and raise awareness among youth and the public regarding their vital role in the success of future flora and fauna conservation (on land and below water), both in Cambodia and globally. The participation of every individual plays a crucial role in building local context, shaping policy, and driving implementation.
