Hands on educational workshop at a local pottery studio.

In honor of world ocean day, join us for an educational and hands on workshop revolved around our amazing oceans! Come learn about threatened species that call the ocean home, and what we can do to help. This will be followed by glazing your own ocean themed plate with instructions on how to create a beach glaze. Leading the educational portion of the workshop is Sarah Vinings, finalizing her MA in biology with a focus in conservation education through Miami University. She has over a decade of experience in both the zoological and environmental education fields, working with animal ambassador species from around the world. Part of the proceeds will go to an ocean themed non-profit. Come enjoy an evening full of waves, fun, and pottery! Proceeds will be donated to SECORE International, a conservation organization dedicated to restoring our coral reefs.
