Le Late Show de Ninette – Journée mondiale des océans 2026

About This Event

Radio Campus Montpellier and UMR MARBEC present a special World Ocean Day broadcast dedicated to marine science and ocean awareness.

This 5-hour radio event features four episodes of Le Late Show de Ninette, an original fiction-science podcast where marine animals become radio characters and interact with real scientists to explore major ocean issues through humor, storytelling and scientific dialogue.

The programs address topics including:

fishing pressure and marine predators,
ecological traps linked to floating objects at sea,
oyster farming and lagoon ecosystems,
pollution of coastal ecosystems in Gabon.

The event also includes:

interviews with researchers from UMR MARBEC,
a radio documentary recorded in Gabon,
discussions hosted by science journalist Guillaume Bagnolini,
participation of international guest Mononc’ Serge (Quebec).

Researchers and contributors involved include:
Pascal Bach, Laurent Dagorn, Marion Richard, Cyrille Przybyla, Christophe Leboulanger, Yann Tremblay and others.

The event will be broadcast on Radio Campus Montpellier and relayed by several Campus radios in France.
